Work in India
Working to improve hygiene and sanitation education in the Sundarbans, West Bengal, Water 1st seeks to bring safe water to local communities. Recent projects include the construction of over 27 wells and 596 toilets. Water 1st has also established women’s self-help groups that teach women how to manage water accounts and practice good hygiene in their homes.
