Example Project in South Asia
The foundation funds a number of ongoing projects in South Asia: CARE Bangladesh’s effort to improve dairy farming in Bangladesh; Drive-Up Prevention programs located along major truck routes in India that are helping to reduce the rates of HIV and sexually transmitted infections; the Karnataka-based Ashodaya Samithi organization that teaches sex workers in India how to prevent HIV infection, etc.
