Focus
Aglow began in 1967 in Seattle with four women who expressed a desire to meet together as Christians without denominational boundaries. Today over 4,600 Aglow groups meet worldwide to minister in their communities and nations. Aglow is committed to enabling indigenous women to play leadership roles.

Work in India
Aglow ministered/helped out after the 2004 tsunami in Indonesia and Tamil Nadu. Currently (as of 2011) over 500 Aglow groups are meeting throughout Asia.
