Project in Pakistan/Afghanistan
Church World Service-Pakistan/Afghanistan (CWS-P/A) assists communities in Pakistan and Afghanistan through a social development program, a capacity building program, and a disaster response program. Through these programs, CWS-P/A operates projects that cater to the specific needs of the beneficiaries, communities, and larger scale sector issues for which they are designed. Cross-cutting themes including gender equality, health (including HIV & AIDS), water and sanitation, education, and livelihoods. CWS-P/A also engages in activities with PACFREL (Pak Coalition for Free and Fair Democratic Elections) and a regional training program.
